Please read all information below to ensure you are aware of all requirements

Thank you for your celebrating our 21st Birthday and supporting Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter by being an exhibitor at the 2018 Outdoor Leisure Show. We warmly welcome our first time exhibitors, the return of our Queensland exhibitors and our regulars exhibitors who have been with us over the years and now decades.

Once again we have an extensive range of exhibitors and displays catering to all outdoor interests and activities, along with cooking demonstrations, entertainment for all the family, a great selection of food outlets and much more.

We look forward to seeing you in a couple of weeks and invite you to join us for welcome / opening drinks at the bar on Friday 13 July at 4.30pm. In the meantime if you have any further queries, please call Lismore Helibase on 02 6623 7300.


The site plan is available from the event website and will be updated regularly as needed. We're still finalising all exhibitor participation, so the full exhibitor list will be posted to the site within the coming days.


Exhibitor Payment Schedule.

Successful applicants will be sent an invoice via email no later than Friday 4 April 2018, with payment due by Friday 1 June 2018.

All exhibitors must submit

  • Application forms
  • Certificate of currency for public liability
  • Food Vendors Permit (if applicable) for Lismore City Council

Please Note: Exhibitors will be excluded from attending the event if full payment and proof of public liability insurance is not received by event organiser by close of business (5pm) on Tuesday 4 July 2017. This will be strictly enforced.


Bump In

  • Caravan bump in is from 9am Tuesday 10 July. To avoid congestion, please arrange delivery early.
  • Pavilion exhibitors can set up from 9am Wednesday 11 July. Sites will be marked out and ready - again we recommend you arrive early.
  • General bump in time is from 9am Wednesday 11 July & Thursday 12 July.
  • All sites must be set up and ready for trading by 8am Friday 7 July 2017 - no exceptions!

Bump out

  • Commences from 4pm Sunday 15 July 2018.
  • Sites must not be left unmanned or dismantled until close of the Show at 4pm Sunday 15 July.

The Showground is open to the public from 9am to 4pm over the three-day period, Friday 13 to Sunday 15 July 2018.

Stock Delivery

Stock can be delivered to:      Lismore OUTDOOR LEISURE SHOW      Lismore Showground, Alexandra Parade, North Lismore

Staff will be on hand to assist with deliveries and a forklift on site from Wednesday 11 July. If you are having stock delivered, please contact Howard Atkinson (0434 853 864) in advance to advice him or your arrangements.

Trucks / exhibitors delivering Caravans MUST report to the site office on arrival; you will be escorted to your site.

Your Arrival

On arrival to Lismore Showground, all exhibitors must report to the site office to collect their Exhibitor Lanyards and site information. The site office is open from 9am Thursday 6 July 2017.

You, and any personnel working on your stand, are required to wear your lanyards for the duration of the Show, and these must be shown on entry to the showground each day.

Your onsite contact is to be advised, and they will be onsite in the week leading up to the Show and throughout the event. The Site Office will be manned from 9.00am Thursday 12 July 2018.

Security Schedule

Security will commence on Tuesday 10 July 2018 at 3pm and runs to 8:00am on Tuesday 17 July 2018. This will allow caravan dealers to have stock delivered to their site from 9am on Tuesday 10 July.

WH&S Requirement

All electrical leads onsite must be tested and tagged.

An inspection by an electrical contractor will be conducted prior to the opening of the Show on Thursday 12 & Friday 13 July.

NOTE: If your electrical leads are not displaying current tags, the electrical contractor will test and tag them - at a charge of $5.50 per tag - which is to be paid by the exhibitor. It is the responsibility of the exhibitor to ensure all efforts are made to make their site safe.

Exhibitor Car Parking

There is plenty of exhibitor parking available in the general car park.

No vehicles will be permitted on site during the show times unless it is part of a display.

All vehicles must vacate the showground sites before 8.15am daily.

Staying on site

Exhibitors are permitted to camp onsite during the event. Showers and amenities are available.

A small charge of $50 for 3 days is applicable, and you must register and pay at the site office prior to set up. Bookings are essential - please call Howard Atkinson on 0434 583 864 to arrange.

Please note: Due to Council health & safety requirements, NO dogs / pets are permitted onsite within the Show during opening hours of the event (ie. 9am - 4pm Friday 7th to Sunday 9th July 2017).

Public announcements on PA system

We have engaged the services of a professional announcer, who will make regular announcements about exhibitors over the course of the three days.

The aim is to drive people to your site. If you would like the announcer to say a few words about your business during the event - including any show specials you would like to promote, please send a maximum of 150 words to events@rescuehelicopter.com.au or fax to (02) 6623 7399 by no later than Tuesday 4 July 2017. Remember to include your site name and number.
